The Tiger 800 range offers three different Riding Modes that allow the adjustment of the throttle maps, ABS and TTC to suit different road conditions. Select either Road or Off-Road mode and the throttle maps, ABS, and Triumph Traction Control are automatically set.
RIDER MODE allows you to configure these settings independently to suit your own personal riding style. In Rider Mode, the throttle maps can be switched between Rain, Road, Sport, and Off-Road settings.
Every Tiger 800 features first-in-class standard fitment of Triumph Traction Control that prevents the unexpected spinning of the rear wheel and cuts the engine torque to avoid the loss of lateral grip.
The XCx/XCA and XRx/XRT feature advanced Traction Control with three settings: 1. ROAD: optimised for road use, allowing minimal rear wheel slip 2. OFF ROAD: allows increased rear wheel slip 3. OFF: disables the traction control setting

Including Road, Off-Road and programmable Rider Mode, they adapt the throttle map, ABS sensitivity and Triumph Traction Control parameters to give maximum response no matter what the condition.
Featuring a superb level of comfort both for rider and passenger, thanks to the comfort seats with 3D mesh technology, and enhanced wind protection, courtesy of the adjustable windshield and hand guards, the Tiger XRx will tempt you into embarking on an exciting trip. The standard Cruise Control enhances your riding pleasure over long distances, while the advanced Trip Computer displays all the information of your journey. The Tiger XRx low version offers the same great quality and innovative engineering, but is significantly lower, making this class-leading motorcycle accessible to even more riders. The lowered profile has been achieved through a redesigned seat and reduced suspension travel.
The Tiger XRx’s seat height is reduced by 50mm compared to the standard model, taking the seat height to 760 - 780 mm.
The lowered Tiger XRx boasts a revised radiator guard as well as an aluminium sump guard.
It’s the first bike in its class to include ABS, traction control and cruise control as standard. Supported by a full ride by wire system for smooth and responsive power delivery, the Tiger 800 also features programmable riding modes .
The Tiger 800 XRt provides the highest levels of comfort and technology for the perfect adventure. The combination of switchable ABS, traction control, and rider modes provide full reassurance and the additional of luxury features such as heated rider and passenger seats, heated grips, and a larger 650w alternator that can power other auxiliary items meaning that all year riding is always on the agenda. Visibility is enhanced with the LED fog lamps, and the touring capabilities are maximised with the standard fitment of pannier rails that are ready to take the optional Expedition luggage set.
At the heart of the XRt is an 800cc triple engine with 95PS and incredible levels of torque for a linear power delivery no matter what gear you are in. With power on demand and a chassis tuned for dynamic handling, the XRt makes every journey an experience.
The Tiger XCx low is accessible to even more riders with its significantly lower seat than that of the standard Tiger XCx. The lowered profile has been achieved through a redesigned seat and reduced suspension travel. This change gives the motorcycle a seat height of 790 – 810 which is 50mm lower compared to the standard model.
Traction control and cruise control come as standard along with ABS. This is supported by a full ride by wire system for smooth and responsive power deliver. The Tiger 800 also features programmable riding modes.
Equipped with traction control, switchable ABS, 3 Rider Modes, and a second generation 95PS 800cc triple engine with a seamless flow of torque, the Tiger 800 XCa goes further still. Standard equipment includes heated rider and passenger seats, heated grips, LED fog lamps, and an uprated 650W alternator complete with 3 auxiliary sockets that can power everything you need from heated clothing to GPS systems. It also features aluminium pannier rails making it ready to tour with the optional Expedition luggage set.
The finely honed handling and ride are everything you would expect from a Triumph. The suspension features 43mm WP USD forks that have 220mm of front wheel travel and come with adjustable rebound and compression damping. The WP monoshock is adjustable for both preload and rebound and comes with a remote reservoir and delivers 215mm of wheel travel.
